The Madhouse

Hey Everyone,

A poem this time! One I wrote a while ago. Enjoy!

This city is a Madhouse!!

There are people everywhere!

And vehicles too.

All headed somewhere in such a hurry

But do they remember to enjoy the journey, I wonder.

Smartphones are another thing.

Everyone seems to be plugged in.

Music, videos, social media!

Virtually connected? Certainly!

But in reality? I dunno.

Things can get pretty crazy here.

It’s usually one extreme or the other.

But this makes life an adventure in this metro

You never know what tomorrow may bring.

So, survive a day and be grateful for it.

Tomorrow may not see you so fit.

The air here is magic though!

It gives you hope beyond measure

That all your dreams can come true!

It is the city of dreams after all!

And the city that never sleeps

Contradictory though that may seem!

But come here once and you’ll never wish to leave!

Because…

You cannot help but love aamchi Mumbai!
